Did I say 3 to 5 inches?

Try 14 to 18 inches of snow. This is what we’ve been looking at for the last 2 days.

That snow is holding over us in a circular pattern, so it’s not going anywhere anytime soon – it’s coming down very hard right now. We’ve probably had another 4 inches since we went out to shovel around noon.

Speaking of shoveling – click here to see our adventures.

  1. Now THIS is a good Ohio snow storm. I was beginning to think you might always think 2 inches was a lot of show.

    But it’s so much fun!

  2. I’ll just say better you than me… I haven’t seen snow like that since we came to our senses and moved from the Northlands to Dallas in 1982… and it is to far North for me… Well look at it this way it isn’t anything that 2 fingers of good Scotch in the bottom of a number 9 wash tub and a good fire (in the fire place) won’t obliterate.

  3. Mr. Bob – the fire’s already going and the bottle of Dalwhinnie has been uncorked. I have a turkey roasting in the oven and bread rising in the bread machine. Tomorrow will see waffles for breakfast, red beans and rice for dinner, and a lemon meringue pie for dessert.

    Life is good.
