Live Real. Eat Real.

Who Won Mark Sisson’s “Primal Blueprint Quick and Easy Meals” Cookbook?

Well, hang on a darn second and I’ll tell you.

First, I put all of the names of the entrants in a spreadsheet, once for each entry.  Then I printed it out and cut each name into a little strip of paper.  Then I dropped them into this large bowl.

Why, yes – that is a candy bowl.

Irony.  It is good for your blood.  (Hey, it should be used for something.)

Next, I coerced found a volunteer to help draw a name.

He closed his eyes and drew a name.

Who is it?

It’s Krystal!

Congratulations, Krystal!  I’ll send you an email soon asking for your address so I can send your new cookbook!

And have a lovely day, y’all.

Sean says:

Was it a crystal candy bowl? That would really really be ironic.

Sean says:

Wait, on second thought, that would just be coincidental. I think.

Smiles to Sean’s comment; that is a concidence.
Congrats to Krystal!!

Jenni says:

I guess I should’t be a sore loser, but I really wanted that cookbook.

Congratulations, Krystal.

*Grumble, grumble*

Michele says:

I thought irony was good for the soul? See what I know! Yay Krystal!

Mama Badger says:

Krystal- when will you be having us all to dinner? Or at least posting all the marvelous things you make so we can be envious?

Krystal says:

Thanks, Jan! And thanks everyone else, too!

Mama Badger, we’ll have a big ol’ dinner party in May once I finish my masters degree!!

Gretchen says:

Dang, I never win anything. Congrats to Krystal though. And I’m pretty impressed that you printed out all the names and cut them into little pieces of paper. Much more visual than or whatever!

Pseudo says:

Congrats to the winner! And the Young One looks very tall these days….

I’ve been travelling, so I missed the contest altogether. But I very much enjoyed seeing the Young One helping his Mum.
